Horizontal Split Case Pump

The horizontal split case pump is a highly efficient centrifugal pump designed with a single-stage, double suction impeller configuration. The impeller is supported between robust bearings on both sides, which ensures hydraulic balance, reduces axial thrust, and provides stable, vibration-free operation even under high-capacity working conditions.

Key Design Features

Split Casing Construction: The casing is horizontally split, allowing quick access to internal components such as the impeller, shaft, and bearings without disturbing the suction or discharge piping. This design simplifies inspection and maintenance, reducing downtime and operational costs.

Optimized Nozzle Arrangement:  The suction and discharge nozzles are integrally cast into the lower half of the casing and positioned on the same horizontal centerline. This not only ensures precise alignment and smooth fluid flow but also makes installation easier, with minimal piping adjustments required.

Double Suction Impeller:  The impeller draws fluid in from both sides, balancing the hydraulic forces and reducing axial load on the shaft, thereby extending the lifespan of the pump and bearings.
